Our safari guide: Our safari guides are all well experienced in the field and passionate about showing you the amazing wildlife and culture Tanzania has to offer. All are fluent in English, and if you have a special language request just let us know as many will also have an additional language (e.g. French, Spanish, German). They are also well trained in 4×4 driving so will be able to get you anywhere on the varying road qualities we have here! Please feel free to ask your guide any questions you may have about the wildlife, culture or trip along the way.

Transport: 4×4 Safari Landcruiser with 7 seats. Our safari vehicles have been specifically modified for wildlife viewing, with a pop top roof which will be open during all game drives and sliding windows. Our cars are equipped with a radio system for guide communication with base and park rangers. We carry at least one pair of binoculars in each vehicle. Although we do everything within our powers to ensure your maximum comfort, the roads in Tanzania can vary greatly in quality from newly tarmacced to completely rough and muddy or dusty (depending on rainy or dry season!). Driving times can be long, even to cover what may seem like relatively short distances. Although we regularly maintain our vehicles (with a check-up in the garage after every safari) they can and do sometimes pop a tyre or breakdown. Our guides are well trained with lots of experience in car mechanics and 98% of the time can fix the issue themselvesand you’ll be off spotting zebras again in less than 20 minutes! Please be patient if your car encounters a mechanical issue. Tipping: A great area of confusion and unease for many tourists, tipping is a generally expected and highly appreciated (although not compulsory) part of your safari tour. It is a great way of saying ‘thank you’ to those that have helped you to have a wonderful experience here. Tips should be given at the end of your safari when saying your goodbyes. If you are part of a group safari it is best to try to discuss with everyone beforehand how you wish to do the tipping. To help you feel at ease we have provided a general guide below but please remember that tipping is a way of you showing your gratitude for your safari staff and is up to you! The guidelines given below are for a group amount, not individually.
1 Day Tour to Arusha National Park Just 35km from Arusha (75km from Moshi) you can get out of the city and into the bush with this one day trip. Arusha National Park, at 137km², is one of Tanzania’s smaller national parks but still boasts a wide variety of wildlife along with the still active volcano- Mount Meru. For those interested in exploring by foot, this is the only national park in the Northern Circuit where you will be able to walk amongst the wildlife. Imagine strolling past a group of Grant’s gazelle or coming across a family of Elephants right at the foothills of Tanzania’s 2nd highest peak. Despite its smaller size you will find a variety of interesting landscape features within the park, including the Ngurdoto Crater, Mommela Lakes and Tululusia waterfalls. Good things come in small package

1 Day at Ngorongoro Crater Day Tour At 0600 hrs in the morning, be ready for a pick up from your hotel or from your stay in Arusha town, your driver guide will collect your picnic lunches, drive 190 km on tarmac road to Ngorongoro Conservation entry gate. From the gate, drive to the Crater Rim and spend few minutes for awesome view of the Crater from the top, descend into the crater floor for a day game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is one the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa. All the BIG FIVE Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more… Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more other bird families.
Lake Manyara National Park In the early morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. A park that supports one of the highest biomass densities of large mammals in the world. Famous for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos, it displays the breathtaking scenery of the Rift valley. The number of bird species it houses including flamingos, pelicans , cormorants and a few hundred other species it appears like a paradise for ornithologists. Next to a great variety of birds, the “Big Game” can also be seen. With a bit of luck you might see elephants in the wooded regions and with even more fortune the tree-climbing lions. Indeed, it was thought for a long time that the Lake Manyara National Park is the only place where lions can be found with this atypical behaviour of climbing trees. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found amongst the forested areas and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shoots.
